BMX Racing - Leila Walker - Quarterfinal (Run 1-3)
Unfortunately, Leila didn’t advance from the quarterfinals. (1st run: 3rd - 36.974, 2nd run: 6th - 36.288, 3rd Run: 8th - 38.347, overall ranking: 17th) This ends her Olympic journey.
Swimming - Caitlin Deans & Erika Fairweather & Eve Thomas & Laticia Transom - 4x200m Freestyle Relay (Final)
Caitlin & Erika & Eve & Laticia placed 8th with a time of 7:55.89. This ends the Olympic journey for Caitlin & Laticia.
Judo - Sydnee Andrews - Elimination Round of 32 (+78kg)
Sydnee put up an incredible fight in her Olympic debut, facing a 3-time Olympian, but the fight ended after her opponent scored an ippon. This ends her Olympic journey.
Swimming - Erika Fairweather, Eve Thomas - 800m Freestyle
Erika swam an 8:22:22, advancing her to Sunday morning’s final. Eve was unable to qualify beyond the heats; this ends Eve’s Olympic journey.
Athletics - Zoe Hobbs - 100m Sprint (Round 1)
Zoe ran a season’s best 11.08, advancing her to the semifinal on Sunday morning.
Trampoline - Maddie Davidson - Qualification & Final
Maddie jumped for a qualification score of 54.740, advancing her to the finals. She finished in 7th place with a score of 54.230. This ends her Olympic journey.
Sailing - Greta Pilkington - Dinghy (Race 2-3)
Greta is currently sitting in 36th, after race 2 (34th) and race 3 (41st). She’ll race again tonight, if conditions allow.
Sailing - Jo Aleh & Molly Meech - Skiff (Medal Race)
Jo & Molly finished in 7th place overall, after coming back to take 4th in the final race. This ends their Olympic journey.
Rowing - Jackie Kiddle & Shannon Cox - LWT Double Sculls (Final)
Jackie & Shannon finished just short of the podium in 4th place after a late surge from the Greek team, with a time of 6:51.56. This ends their Olympic journey.
Sailing - Veerle ten Have - Windsurfing (Quarterfinal)
Veerle’s race was postponed due to weather conditions. It is rescheduled for tonight.
Canoe Slalom - Luuka Jones - Kayak Cross (Time Trial)
Luuka finished 4th in the time trial with a time of 72.10. She’ll compete in Round 1 (Race 4) on Sunday morning.
