What’s happening this morning:

Here’s what happened since yesterday’s email:

Triathlon - Ainsley Thorpe, Nicole van der Kaay - Individual Triathlon
- Nicole van der Kaay placed 31st with a time of 2:01:33 (+6:38). Ainsley Thorpe placed 44th with a time of 2:03:48 (+8:53). They’ll compete in the mixed team relay on Monday night.
Rowing - Jackie Kiddle & Shannon Cox - Double Sculls LWT Semifinals
- Jackie & Shannon rowed in the semifinal with a time of 7:02.86, advancing them to Friday night’s final!
Sailing - Jo Aleh & Molly Meech - Skiff (Race 10-12)
- Jo & Molly are sitting in 7th overall after all 12 races, and have qualified to race for a medal on Friday morning! They finished 15th (race 10), 8th (race 11), and 7th (race 12).
Equestrian - Melissa Galloway - Dressage Grand Prix Day 2 (Group G)
- Melissa (& horse Windermere) broke the New Zealand Olympic record for best ever dressage score, receiving a 68.913, and finishing 7th in Group G. This ends her Olympic journey.
Sailing - Veerle ten Have - Windsurfing (Race 8-11)
- Veerle moved up again after race 11, sitting in 8th overall. In last night’s races, she finished 11th (race 8), 3rd (race 9), 5th (race 10), and 3rd (race 11). She’ll race again tonight.
