Paralympics Update: Saturday, August 31

Here’s what happened since yesterday’s email:

Para Cycling Track - Anna Taylor- C4 3000m Individual Pursuit
- Anna won SILVER in the C4 3000m Individual Pursuit, securing New Zealand’s first medal of the 2024 Paris Paralympics! Her qualification time also smashed her own national record by more than 6 seconds! Anna will compete again on Wednesday in the C4 Individual Time Trial (road race).
Para Swimming - Gabriella Smith - 100m Breaststroke SB9
- Gabriella qualified for the final with a time of 1:20.40, and finished 7th in the final race with a time of 1:20.72. She will compete again on Thursday in the 400m Freestyle S10, and Saturday in the 200m Individual Medley SM10.
